I suppose if I want to spend hours and hours searching, I could do so but might not find that TV commercial, and it could be truly lost.

There are some others I have searched for on u-tube and haven't found yet.

But, I have found a lot of my favorite, such as Almond Joy/Mounds (many different variations), and psa (public service announcements), like the couple dancing to the song "VD is for everybody, not just for the few," and the nice one about the nationwide 55 MPH speed limit of the early 1970s claiming it had saved as many lives as the population of Grannelle, Iowa, along withe the smooching young couple and the kid in the barber chair.

If it's from the late 60's then it's not likely on a VHS home recording (as they didn't exist or weren't widely used at the time) so that may be the reason it doesn't have an online presence; It's because nobody could record it. However if your year speculation is off and it's from the 80's or 90's then there's a good chance it could be on a tape somewhere waiting to be found.

Thanks for the post, RedRex4000, and it's a good and true observation on your part that the older or newer a commercial is, the less or greater possibility is  of it still existing.

But, remember that some real oldies as far back as the 1950s still do exist and are on utube.

Thank you for being respectful to me earlier, much appreciated. Some old commercials usually end up online because advertisers leave their film reels in storage and someone bids on it and has them uploaded online. Or a friend of a friend situation. Or people like lost media users that actively seek them out

Was the commercial your thinking of animated? If it was can you describe the style of animation? Was the animation like this one or a different style?
