Tammy Leppert, an 18-year-old model/beauty queen from Florida, went missing on July 6, 1983 and has never been found. She even had a small part in Scarface, playing the girl in the blue bikini who creates a distraction before the chainsaw scene. Her case was famously profiled on Unsolved Mysteries in 1992.
According to a Florida newspaper in 1978, Leppert (then aged 13) was set to appear as herself in a short film called “Cover Girl: Behind the Scenes” which detailed her photo shoot for the October 1978 edition of Cover Girl magazine. I could find no IMDB entry for such a project. Did it ever come to fruition? And if so, was it ever actually released?
