Hey! There is the game I played as a kid called Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak for the GBA. I am now on their speedrun discord, and me and a mod were talking about an old-but-released version of the game that they heard about on an interview with the developers on a DVD (They said it is probably US) of the anime that they were gifted awhile ago, around the time "Ham-Ham Games" was released I think. Reportedly, there was a glitch in the first Japanese version that caused an unused cutscene referencing the titanic to appear. They talk about the glitch, and mention that they found out pretty quickly about it because the incomplete coding of it led to, instead of the planned ship crashing into the beach, the ship somehow glitchily sinking. Supposedly, parents reported it, and Nintendo quickly fixed it. The person said there is a good chance that most of the copies are in a nintendo warehouse, but I do know that this was released to the public at some point for the version 1 to get noticed by parents. There is a cheat code to access this cutscene on emulator, but no way to do so normally, and the important end section of it is seemingly missing, likely so that even if another glitch was found the controversy wouldn't be there. Unfortunately, the version number is stored internally, so unless somebody used a cheating device to find out or simply experienced the glitch, they couldn't know if it was the rare version. I aim to get a recording of the glitch in this version for documentation, as well as how it is performed. This means either finding somebody with the old version or purchasing and hoping it is the correct version. Any ideas?
