Ripley’s Believe It or Not (2000-2003)

I remember that show! Watched it all the time.

Took a quick search around Google and other than a few clips on YouTube, nothing. That is really odd. That version was rerun quite a bit on several different stations at the time. Surely someone saved at least a couple episodes.

Oh shoot, this show was somewhat popular here in Mexico. It kept re-running until 2009 or so. I remember it because I was hella scared of it; in 2009 I watched it on a public TV channel, only because they aired a show centered around (dated) Guinness World Records after Ripley's.

Funnily enough, I can't seem to find much of the original version (the one in English), nor this Latin American dub... Which seriously surprises me.

I remember being hooked on it growing up and I credit it for what sparked my fascination with the body modification community. It's weird that it sort of fell off the map like that. I'm sure whoever runs the Ripley's twitter might know more on where we can watch the episodes or at least get a copy. My hope is that it's sort of like the third season of Pete & Pete, where everything is or can be in the process of being released on DVD but there's a licensing issue that's making it harder for it to happen.
