I could have sworn that Bob Bainborough (Dalton from The Red Green Show) competed on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" sometime in the early 2000's (the show's first run was 2003 to 2010). I remember seeing a TV promo spot with him being interviewed for the show. He said something along the lines of "It's not called 'the last really nice guy standing.'"
The only problem is that I can't find any evidence that Bob was ever on that show, nor can I find evidence of a clip like that anywhere online. Either my memories are screwed up (like maybe it wasn't actually Bob, even though I pretty clearly recall his face and distinctive voice) or it wasn't really "Last Comic Standing" or something. I'm confused. As far as I can tell he was never on a comedy competition show at all, even.
Now, obviously this verges into Mandela Effect territory and I'm not interested in spreading woo here, I'd just like to know if anybody has any evidence that this clip or something like it ever happened.
