When "Scooby Doo 2" was released in theaters, there was a brief scene cut from all home video releases (as far as I can tell) - after Shaggy fills Scooby's mouth with whipped cream, Shaggy takes a huff from the empty can and acts disoriented for a moment, accompanied by a "dazed" sound effect. Obviously (being a kids movie), this caused some upset among parents, and was eventually cut from the movie.
Now, having seen the movie in theaters, I saw this scene myself - and eventually, after mentioning it on a forum a couple years ago, was contacted by the sound editor from the film who confirmed he himself worked on this scene.
Just one problem -
This scene has never emerged online. I've even tried looking for cam-shot versions of the movie from 2004 (that would've filmed it), but only found old, dead links. Does anyone actually have this scene?

The only references I found to this scene on a quick search is from a thread of yours a couple years ago, and an older one from somebody back in 2004.
Is it possible you read this older thread from 2004 and simply misremembered this as something that actually happened? I know they make some stoner type jokes in these movies (Mary Jane, etc...), but I'm skeptical of this whip-its joke. Not because I think it's beneath them, but just because nobody else seems to be talking about it.
I guarantee it happened. The person who worked on that scene (and gave some background to it) answered my post about it on the Steve Hoffman music forums, confirming its existence.
Back in high school, shortly after I noticed it was missing from the DVD, I had found an article about the negative response from parents after the theatrical release.
Here's a Newgrounds post where someone describes it exactly as I remember it - including the sound effect the guy on Steve Hoffman mentions he added. www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/123733
The sound editor's quote: "You are not wrong. I was a sound effects editor on that movie and I created the stony sound for Shaggy's huffing reaction! Director Raja Gosnell called it "The Genius Sound!" I was saddened but not surprised when the scene was pulled for video. At the time a lot of the studio people didn't seem to realize what was going on, and it WAS a very quick moment, but they surely caught on later!"

You might want to ask the YouTube user who posted this video. They may or may not still have access to a 35mm print of the film (albeit with Russian dubbing.) youtu.be/78fm8xXr5co
EDIT: I just went ahead and asked the user. We’ll see if they respond.
EDIT 2: They posted the scene. Again, it’s dubbed in Russian but it’s the scene nonetheless. youtu.be/4fOjG9c1daM
