Hello everyone I'm new here, I hope someone will help me with this

I'm from Belgium and I vaguely remember watching a stop motion show when I was a kid so around the 2000 it happened either in space or underwater and had a steam punk aesthetic.

There was this scene in which a kind of mouse or mole character (I think he was some kind of mechanic) was hitting a big machine with a hammer.

I draw what he looked like from memory, the room he was in was kind of dark and in hues of brown.

I hope someone will know what was the name of this show or movie.

Ah, man! That drawing and the description really stirs something in the back of my mind! If I'm thinking of the same thing, then the mole kind of moved around a Gumby character, like he had invisible little wheels on.

Hmm, that's close, but not what I remember (can't speak for the OP). I think the thing I saw was a short or maybe even a network bump.
