According to the actor Doug Jones who portrayed the Mac Tonight character for various McDonald’s ads in the late 80’s, there exists an extended version of his song that was played on the radio only. According to him this is why no one really remembers it. It is unknown if any recordings of the radio commercial exist or if there were any other radio commercials made for Mac Tonight. We do have the full lyrics to the ad thanks to him singing it for a fan in this video:

I feel like the only chance of finding this is if someone recorded the commercial either deliberately or accidentally around the time it aired. I haven’t located any recordings yet unfortunately but I am able to confirm the full lyrics:

Good news, HectorHawk9 just found the full song, which I have uploaded here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJBf2DD3hnU

It is a recording of a recording, so not fantastic quality, but no longer 'lost' at least.

Here's hoping a HQ version shows up at some point. Brock Walsh, the voice actor for Mac Tonight, doesn't have a master copy.

Might be worth updating the relevant page on LMW.
