lost code

I'm not sure whether this really fits lost media so I'll post it here just to be safe. Anyway, for the last 2 or 3 years ever since I've heard of sloot data compression, I've become extremely interested in lost technology, specifically lost code. things like hyperoptimized operating systems and other potentially revolutionary code which went lost for one reason or another. In fact so much so, I started doing independent research, doing hundreds of hours of digging through obscure forums (where I got much of the sloot stuff), sites which were barely hanging on, and a lot of second and third hand sources. I found several documents which were extremely helpful in this quest of mine. here's one really cool example. if there's anything else in that kind of vein that you may happen to know about, whether some other clues regarding how to rebuild (sloot) SDSC or some other lost technology, do let me know as i'm constantly looking for new clues. mainly because I along with several other friends of mine on a quest to revive such technology. admittedly there are a lot more files that I have for sloot although I can't seem to get the source code for DNA 2.4 B, a sort of revision of SDSC made by a separate coder in the Netherlands which does pretty much the same thing. been trying to get my hands on the source code but so far it has not been promising.
