Recently I discovered this clip of the pilot episode of the King Of Queens, which shows Jack Carter as original Arthur Spooner:

A post I found on the internet claims that The Paley Center in New York City owns a copy of the full unaired pilot episode that shows Jack Carter as Arthur Spooner (link to Paley Center's article on that episode). Apparently you can watch their collection for free, if you give them a visit in New York City. I would love to see the whole original episode and wonder maybe someone here saw it already, or maybe got a copy of it, or knows how to get a copy and share it with us.
