Does anyone remember the television show "Future Of"? Both me (and my mother) recall watching the show and enjoying when I was young but I cannot seem to find any information of the show online.
The show itself was a very interesting educational show starring a young African American man as he shed light on experimental technology on a specific topic, with the title of the show for that episode playing into the theme of discussion (ex. "Future of Video Games", "Future of Physical Health".)
The two episodes I specifically recall from the series involved cooling off the internal temperature of the body and video games. In the body temperature episode, they measured the hosts internal body temperature as he ran on a treadmill for ten minutes, and then proceeded to cool his body temperature using an experimental piece of tech involving a closed container and a glove. In the video game episode, he demonstrated experimental interactive technology, including an augmented reality cube (which I believe was an early prototype for this technology: www.adorama.com/merarc01.html?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=adl-gbase) along with a vest that emulated gunshots in Call of Duty.
If I recall correctly, this show either aired on PBS or Discovery, with some episodes available on whichever's website.
Edit:
After a blind attempt at looking through generic titles on Youtube, I found the whole series here in this playlist, I will delete this article later today
