Hey there everyone!
So I got another story from my primary school days. I think this happened around the mid-2000s. For some (what I assume was) government initiative we had some kind of presentation by what I assume was either a social or medical worker. I remember being taken into a black caravan which acted as a travelling film screening. We had some lectures about drugs and alcohol and I think we had some anti-bullying stuff as well where they told us we were special and unique (typical stuff). But during this programme we were shown an oddly memorable claymation film. It was about a race of pink coloured humanoid aliens with nozzles for mouths. It was showcasing a society in which everyone had to like exactly the same thing and totally conform all the time. I remember a scene in which one of the aliens sits at home with it's father and asks the Dad "hey what do you like to eat for breakfast". He responds with "same thing you like to eat" or something to that effect. I also a recall a scene where the school kids have to sing the praises of how conformist their society is and another in which one of the aliens looking up at the stars wondering if there is anywhere in space in which this rule isn't enforced. I don't recall exactly how long it was (I think somewhere around 10 minutes). The fact it's stuck around with me 15 years after I saw it suggests it might be worth finding. Except for one problem. I can't find it. I don't recall any sort of title for it and when I look for things that would match the description in my head, no luck. I don't recall it ever airing on television or seeing a VHS or DVD release of it. I think it was only circulated for educational purposes. This programme took place in the UK around the 2000s and I recall the film featuring British accents. So I assume it probably was not released beyond the UK. Maybe I'm wrong. Can anyone think of a way to track this thing down?
