"The Feast of Steven" is an episode of the famous British sci-fi television series Doctor Who, from the serial "The Daleks Masterplan", that aired on Christmas, 1965. Unfortunately however, it was wiped, along with many other episodes of the show. Luckily, however, many screencaps, telesnaps, do exist, as well as the full audio tracks, 8mm film recordings, and surviving clips/behind the scenes footage/home videos do exist, and were used to reconstruct these missing episodes, along with some 16mm prints of previously missing episodes. However, "The Feast of Steven" has no surviving footage, since it is the only episode that was never telerecorded (the method of transferring from video tape to 16mm, for sending and broadcasting on television stations overseas), because it had little to do with the actual plot of the serial, and because the BBC didn't want to air a dark and grim episode on Christmas. Though, it is possible that somewhere, exists an 8mm recording of a scene, from that episode.
This was briefly covered by our Doctor Who lost episodes article:
Of the 97 episodes that are currently missing, only one is confirmed to have no chance of recovery: "The Feast of Steven", the seventh part of the 12-part serial "The Daleks' Master Plan". The episode was made as a lighthearted Christmas special, due to the fact that it was set to air on Christmas day; the producers did not wish to kill the holiday spirit by continuing the current story's rather dark plot. It was only aired once, and because the episode had no relevance to the plot, there were no film copies made for overseas distribution, unlike all other episodes. The only known copy of it was destroyed in the second round of wiping on August 17th, 1967. The Doctor Who Restoration Team has theorized that the episode may survive from a routine telerecording, but the chances of this are intensely slim.

I know it's not perfect, but there actually exists a reconstruction of the episode using the existing audio recording: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRFlWddgi2
