There is a specific straight to DVD education video that I have been looking for called Max and The Delivery Van (Or Max The Delivery Man. I'm still fuzzy on what it was called.) It was an educational DVD from my very early childhood that taught kids about their health, and I am struggling to find any trace of it existing any place on the internet. This struck me as very odd. I have a very vague memory of throwing the disk out, which I regret doing. I was hoping to possibly show it to my own kids one day, which is why I came to the lost media wiki for help. Despite it being years since I was in the age demographic for the video, there are tons of things and details from the video that I remember. I will share them now:
The video starts with a bunch of kids being lazy inside their house. They were either playing video games or eating junk food. I remember that one of the kids was named Josh, and he was hogging the TV. Eventually, the delivery man shows up at their door, bringing in a very big box and a very small box. He then takes them on an adventure to teach them about their health. The rest of the video was a bit of a blur, but I do remember a scramble of other moments. At one point all of the kids begin to be asked by the delivery man what their diet is, with most of their responses being bad. I even think that at one point, the mother of the kids jumps into the small box and somehow is transported somewhere. As absurd as that sounds, I am pretty sure that it happened. At the end of the video, all the kids had learned their lesson that health is important, and they go outside to play.
A few other things are as listed:
1.) I was born in the early to mid-2000s, so it is possible that the video was made at that time.
2.) I believe that my brother told me once that the DVD could have been a prize out of a cereal box, but that was never confirmed.
3.) It had cheesy effects, implying that it did not not have a very high budget.
