Back around 2016 or 2017 Disney channel would do this throwback thing at 12:00 every Wednesday night and they would air all throw back shows from the early 2000s and one day it suddenly disappeared. I want to know what happened, why did it leave, and why can’t I find anything online about it. This wasn’t just Disney randomly one night airing a throwback show, this was its own block that played at midnight. It had its own logo that was purple and yellow and it had its own announcement narration. It would air every Wednesday night (12:00 thursday morning) and would play throwback shows from the early 2000s. The shows that they played most often was: Even Stevens (for sure) That’s so raven Lizzie McGuire Hannah Montana And more that I won’t list because I could be wrong or misremembering. I know this wasn’t just a one time thing because me and my brother would sneak downstairs every Wednesday night just to catch our favorite shows. Every (other) week they would switch it from playing a throwback show to a throwback Disney original. The ones I remember seeing are: Zenon Cadet Kelly Double teamed And one with a kid and a surfboard and I think they were in Hawaii (people have said it was Johnny tsunami). I just don’t understand how this can slip through without anyone but me remembering, I had this posted on the lesser known but decided that this may be important enough for this so hopefully we can find it. Or even someone remebering it would be nice. I myself know almost everything Disney channel and I can’t seem to find a single person who even slightly remembers this.
It was called Disney Replay, and it actually started in 2013 (2016 was when it ended). I didn't watch it much, but I remember reading about it when it was on. If you Google it, it should be easy to find some stuff on it. By the time it had left, Freeform had started their own Disney Channel throwback block called That's So Throwback, so that might be why it left.
