Hi there, I'm here to talk about an amazing (well, that's up to debate) discovery I made regarding the short-lived Disney Channel series "Shorty McShorts Shorts". For those who don't know, Shorty McShorts Shorts (SMS for short (haha, pun)) was a series of animated shorts that aired between commercials on the Disney Channel. Basically, it's Disney's equivalent to CN's What a Cartoon! or Nickelodeon's Oh Yeah! Cartoons. You may know that SheZow was the only short to take off as its own series. There are 13 shorts in total, 11 if you count all of the Boyz on Da Run shorts as one thing.
...Well, except that there's more than I initially thought. 21, in fact. So far, 7 of them are found, and one is lost.
Here's a youtube playlist with 20 shorts, including 7 that were never seen before:
The only one that isn't shown is Fish Tale, created by Maxwell Atoms. From the synopsis & names of the main characters, we can assume that it was the pilot to Fish Hooks.
I don't know, maybe I'm just going crazy. Why am I looking so into a bunch of subpar Disney shorts that aired between commercials that barely any remembers? Why am I posting this here?? Dunno, Disney isn't doing a very good job of keeping these shorts archived, and I'm pretty sure there's more lost shorts out there. Anyway, I thought this was an interesting find, especially for Shorty McShorts Shorts of all things.
There's two possible outcomes I see from this: either there were additional shorts that were slated to air as part of the series before cancelation, and then they were simply aired at a later date, or someone simply decided to add other videos to the playlist that just so happened to have that name.
You mentioned Fish Tale specifically. I'd have to look further into when it was made, but given how animated series' schedules tend to be, a 2006-07 pilot isn't too farfetched, though I honestly doubt that it or any of the extra shorts had anything to do with SMS. I suppose it's worth looking into, as the series did die a rather unceremonious death, with Flip-Flopped being the last SMS short to make it to air.

Three of them on the playlist are dubbed in Dutch. Catch one up's original english dub is available on YT and on Gabe Swarr's vimeo account. The other two shorts, Intergredients and Horace & Boris in I got your nose, have not had their original english dubs released.
