I remember back in around 2005 -2008, there was a particular instance during Nicktoons when the ad space for cartoon bumpers played on a separate panel while the credits for the current show played (networks still do this today). This one instance had that ad space boarded up for about 20 seconds with nails and plywood and complete silence to boot (probably because they ran out of stuff to show). I still remember it vividly in my head since I showed it to my grandma right after it happened.
