Hello, i recently made this account because i have taken an interest in lost media as a couple shows have been baffling me as to what they are for some time, and the internet has provided me with little to no help. Iam assuming they are both candain programs as one im pretty sure was a childerns show that aired on cbc in the mornings, but it could have also been pbs kids. The other one was a ytv short.
- the first show aired on either cbc in the mornings or pbs kids sometime between 1998 -2002, i remember only one episode that has been baffling me for quite some time as to what it is, their was two kids and they were in someone's shop, the shop keeper was away and they spilt a barrel of molassses on the floor, and were debating what to say to the shopkeeper, a purple octopus with glasses, (it may not have been purple not 100% sure but it did have glasses) in a fish tank sung a song about how they'd be in "double trouble" if they didnt tell the truth. After a very long search i found a kids show that fits the description sort of, called "mopatop's shop" it was a late 90s childerns show that aired on either cbc on pbs kids im not sure, that used pupetry, however there is not alot of details on the show let alone the individual episodes, so its hard to tell.
- the second is a ytv short that aired sometime in the early to mid 2000s that i still remember quite vividly, it was an animated short that starred a brown, slim, dog with a british accent, it was really odd and basically the whole joke was the dog was really dumb, the theme song was unforgettable though aside from the dogs actual name in theme song, the lyrics were " ? Dog, he is the dumbest!, "iam?" "Yes!" "Oh no iam not!" "Your not?" "Well maybe." The only episode i can remember is when the dog ate like alot of food or something and got a big belly and walked around thinking he was going to have a baby and be a mother, it was reallt strange and despite knowing almost the entire theme song, i cannot find one clue as to what this show is, or even anything similair. Unless iam just searching wrong, i believe these two shows to be lost and or rare shows. Does any one have any idea what these might be? Or even better how to a get hold of the serise id available? Let me know!
