I figured I'd talk about this one last time just to spread awareness I guess. Note that these games will very likely never see the light of day since they were only available through a now defunct online service through Dish Network. Essentially, back i'd say between 2004-2007 Dish Network launched a set of interactive games and programs through the DishHOME Interactive app. A lot of these aren't really worth talking about. Mainly things like Weather and Sports. But it get really interesting when you get into the games.
Most of these games under the name Playin' TV. A lot of these games are kinda obvious games to put on there. Some examples include Tetris TV (made by Oberon Media), Monopoly, Air Hockey, ect. But I am not talking about those games. I am talking about the exclusive Disney Channel Interactive games. These were made exclusively for the service that I am aware of. For more information on some of the stuff that was offered through Disney Channel Interactive. Now the only footage that exists of the Disney service is the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. But I do know another game that was on their and I remember it pretty well. This was a Kim Possible game and it was pretty simple. You were Kim and you climbed a tree while avoiding Snakes hanging from the tree trying to get the highest score. Sadly I don't have any screenshots but I do know it's real. Other games include Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, and more.
Sadly other than that I don't recall much. It costed $5 a month so most of what I played were short little demos. But here are some other things I remember while I am at it. (Sorry for the messy writing.) On the loading screen for a lot of the generic games there was a loading screen where you could play a snake type game where you are a worm eating dirt. There is one game I do remember and that is Carrot Mania. Carrot Mania from what I recall is a platformer made for the service where you are a rabbit collecting Carrots while climbing ladders and avoiding what I believe is either a fox or cat. Other than that it is an ordinary service and the games were removed I would say 2012 or 2013. (Again sorry for the way I was writing this.)
There are games still being made for the Dish Hopper (at least in Asia) for Cartoon Network. Thanks for anyone reading.
