Description of the video has some info about this. As of right now, theres 2 clips completely missing, and 1 unfinished. I have the rest of the clips hosted on my channel... The original uploader recorded it off of something from Archive.org, so I'm hoping we can get better audio quality sometime in the future...
I've been thinking about Making Fiends recently, and something has "bothered" me.
I've noticed that cartoons generally get at least 10-12 episodes in their first season, or per season. There are rare cases where they may get 20 or so, but those are rare and are generally TV series that are pretty much guaranteed to "go long" (if you will).
As we all know Making Fiends was abruptly cancelled after airing 6 episodes. At the moment I can't remember the reason why or if there was even a reason given. Now, each episode had "B" and "C" parts and were basically two shorts, but that was still six episodes.
Were there more that didn't air, and if so where are they? I know cancelled Nick shows always end up on Nicktoons (because Nickelodeon doesn't understand the concept of reruns, neither does CN at present), and sometimes unaired episodes are dumped there (Teenage Robot's 3rd season was dumped there after a couple years post-cancellation), but I can't find any!

The reason for the show's cancellation is a confusing one. We don't know. The show was once "the highest rated original program on Nicktoons" according to the musician of the show, Ego Plum. You can hear the full podcast here. www.mixcloud.com/ebolamusic/ebola-music-radio-show-2009-ep02/ Also, Making Fiends was at Comiccon around 2007-2008, not sure what year. But there they implied the budget was very low. However, if it was cheap to make and seemed to make lots of money (also was praised by critics) why would it get cancelled? The creator of the show doesn't seem to know why either. In 2011 I believe, she encouraged the fans to send in letters to Nick to get the show back on air. Didn't work, of course.
There are a lot more interesting things about the show, of course. Its just one of my main priorities to find all the promo clips, then I can move on to other things.
The website has this FAQ that I'm 90% sure is tongue-in-cheek, based on the questions and the specificity and stupidity of a few of them. One stands out, of course.
"Are there seven additional half hours of Making Fiends television scripts written and just waiting around for Nickelodeon to decide that they would like to make more episodes? Yes."
I have a vague memory of someone saying that Nick cancelled the show after 1 minor disagreement between Winfrey and the network. I think maybe someone that worked with her revealed that. Might be a false memory though.

we can go really deep in the rabbit hole if we wish. but theres a reason promo clips are my main priority: they are a bit more likely to find than say, unfinished scripts. i wouldnt know who to contact for that. but you are welcome to try. i wouldnt know what i would do if we ever got to see those scripts.
