When I was in first grade, me and my sister used to watch "Arthur" on PBS. However, one day when we tuned in one day, something else was on instead. I remember it was during the Fall, possibly November, so it could have been Daylight Savings throwing us off. It was a show that had puppets in it. All I remember about it was that a dad sent the main kid out to mail a sweepstakes entry. He somehow gets mixed up with pirates (I don't remember how), and the pirates mistake the entry for a treasure map. Does anybody else know what I'm talking about, or was that just a fever dream?

Lessee... What puppet shows did PBS have in 98......
*Mr. Rodger's Neignborhood was apparently still airing. *The Puzzle Place. *The Charlie Horse Music Pizza (apparently a spinoff of Lambchop). *Apparently the cartoon Caillou had puppet segments. *The Huggabug Club. *Elmo's World.

Is it The Noddy Shop episode "Treasure Hunt"? That premiered in 1998 and used puppets. In that episode, it had characters called goblins (human people in costumes) turning a box into a treasure map. You could've probably mistaken the goblins for pirates. Luckily, this episode's on YouTube.

I remember this show. It was done with puppets and featured a lot of punny pirate jokes, like pirates with colored beards & an actual locker standing in for Davy Jones' Locker.

Between The Lions was first created by WGBH/aired on PBS Kids in 2000; not 1998.
