While browsing, i came across this greek death metal band formed in the late 80s and split-up in 1993 for no specified reason, but rumors are cerculating. The band was respectivly called "Stigma". They formed in 1987, and people that have some information on the band say that on their first 2 demo recordings they used to be a Thrashy band with growling vocals and greek lyrics, But in 1990 they changed their sound to a more technical death metal band, their name, and their lyrics. After releasing the demo "Epitaph", they split-up for unknown reasons in 1993. But, acording to some people, there was a deal from an english or american record label or talks about there being a deal for them to release stuff, and aparently something went wrong, and because they were going to the army (As you legally have to for a few months in greece after becoming 18) they split ways and none of the band members joined another band.
Apparently they released their "Sickness Of No Survivors" Demo in 1991, but re-released it in 1993. here is the whole demo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kafLL_BC7ZM
This is the line up that people claim the band was:
Alexis Dalamitras Bass
George Athanasiadis Drums
Takis Dalamitras Lead Guitars
Nikos Garas Vocals
But in all the photos i have found of them, they always seems to be 5 people and not 4.

And in the line up thing on the demo tape it does seem like there was a 5th member, but because of the shitty quality i cant make out what it was

Anyways, where am i going at with all this information? Well, to put it simply, there is no way a band between 6 years only released 3 demo tapes or so and have so much attention from anyone living in thesaloniki, in greece at that period. And the only demo tape i was able to find was just one. + i couldnt find any gigs listed on setlist.fm or any info. I bet there is a lot of lost material around them, and because they were so popular in greece i bet someone has more info on what happened. Help please?
(There is one thing to note, there is another traditional greek band called "Stigma" that probably formed around 2008 or something, but they are not the stigma we are talking about, thanks!)
