Show about 3 people going back to the jurassic era

I think it aired on pbs kids in the mid to late 2000s, maybe early 2010s, and all i can remember is one scene where the trio runs into a cave after being chased by what i assume is a trex, then one of them asking if this ring a girl had was okay.

Edit: initially i saod fox kids but I'm 99% sure im wrong
