Hey guys I'm hoping you might be able to identify a movie I saw on tv years ago. It involved two boys and one of them got an important family artifact for their birthday during their party however it goes missing so they try to figure out who stole it. At one point they meet a girl who offers to help them but only if he acts out Romeo and Juliet with her and I believe she demands a kiss. They then go to this old house I believe and find a clue in a room full of antiques. The last bit I can remember is that the culprit turns out to be the clown from their birthday party. The movie is all in live action. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!
Bump. The movie would’ve aired in the mid to late 2000’s on Disney channel possibly but it was not a Disney movie. I am unsure of when exactly it was made.

Honestly, the second I read "she demanded a kiss" this started ringing bells, but I have no idea of a title. Are you sure about the year? Cause WRT my age if this is the movie I remember seeing then it would have been made in the 1990's or 80's. My suggestion would be looking through 1980s or 1990's Disney channel stuff maybe?

I’m not 100% sure it was a made for Disney Channel movie, it could’ve been on a different channel however I’m certain I saw it sometime around 2007-2012. That doesn’t necessarily mean it was made around then though. Thanks for the insight however.

Still having trouble finding anything about this through basic search terms. It could have been a TV movie for all I know.
Another detail I remember is that I believe the girl was hiding in an outhouse during the Romeo and Juliet scene. It definitely didn’t have a mainstream title, and I believe could have been narrated as a recollection of the past.
