Robert Rodriguez's "Desperado" is the sequel to his previous film, "El Mariachi". Desperado is a very over the top and violent action flick. However, in order for the film to get an "R" rating, edits had to be made. Several little trims were made in some death scenes, but the biggest edit was the removal of the final shootout.
You see, at the end of the film, El Mariachi goes to the compound of the drug lord Bucho. They have a confortation and then El Mariachi shoots him dead, then the screen goes white, and it goes to the last scene in the movie.
Robert Rodriguez has talked about the scene in the DVD audio commentary, but it has never seen the light of day as of now.
