I haven't been using the forums all that much lately due to a situation of which is finally beginning to settle down and wrap up. However before, and during, that time in which I was absent, I was working on a search for a show in the Article Suggestions that has honestly been a pain in the rear end finding much information for.
The show goes by the name of "All That Glitters" and it was both released and taken off the air in 1977. I've been doing extensive work on this show, and have only been able to find a promo of the show through a Chicago television archive, as well as what is claimed to be the theme song of the show. The show is centred around the idea of reversed gender roles where the women are the breadwinners, and the men are househusbands, "eye candy" at work, and do other things that would be seen as more feminine in society both at the time and, in a sense, today.
The series aired about 65 episodes according to Wikipedia, but nonetheless flopped receiving negative reviews from critics (from what I've seen so far at least). However, at the same time, I've been seeing comments online on blogs and video pages saying that they recall the show, and actually enjoyed it while it was on the air.
I have been running into constant dead ends with this. I've looked deep online, looked at modcinema, the UCLA, and all sorts of other archives and haven't found jack on any of it. Typically, before I make an article on something, I tend to wait until I've at least located something, whether or not I'm able to see it in person.
Perhaps someone would be able to help me piece this search together. I've made a Google Doc that lists most, if not all, of the notes I've made for the investigation. This one's proving to be a little too challenging to find information on by myself.
