I'm pretty sure, and I've thought this for years, that Superman 64 was made to intentionally be bad. There's no way that any self respecting person would let a game like that be on their record. I'm being dead serious.

From what I've learned, Superman 64 became bad because: * The Superman: The Animated Series (on which the game was based on) was ending on TV, and the producers wanted the game to be out as soon as possible. When you rush development, it is never good (remember Ultima IX: Ascension. BETRAYAL!) * Warner didn't want the players to be able to hurt people when playing as Superman. They forced the developers to rewrite the game so that Superman couldn't hurt anyone even if the player wanted to: that's why the plot says Superman is inside a computer simulation: nobody he hits is "real" so they cannot be hurt. If you try to punch a non-superpowered person such as Lois Lane, nothing happens to them and they will just reply "What's wrong, Superman? Are you okay?" (yeah, it's no big deal that the Man of Steel is trying to randomly kill me) * The developers simply had different creative ideas, like a full city to explore and interact with... but the main developer said that there was a lot of conflicting "politics".
Alright, kiddies. You have your Big Rigs and your Action 52s, but nothing can EVER prepare you for the true video game abomination that is FIGHTING HERO on the NES.
If you think it LOOKS bad, then I dare you to try and play it. The controls are so mind-numbingly horrid that you will cry.
I love pokemon so much, but I HATE b/w and b/w2. It's the game I personally hate the most. I understand if anyone else likes it but I CANNOT stomach to play though it. I love x/y though.

In terms of a game that I actually played, I would say The Simpsons Skateboarding for the PlayStation 2 is the worst game I've ever played in my life, as this video by Caddicarus would explain many of the problems I had with the game.
However, in terms of games played by internet reviewers like the Angry Video Game Nerd, I would definitely have to go with Plumbers Don't Wear Ties for the 3DO and PC as the worst game ever made because at least other bad games listed on the poll actually have gameplay (even Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing on the PC at least has limited gameplay in a broken sort of way); this game definitely does not have any sort of gameplay other than selecting choices that there is only one correct way of going the right path the game allows you take on each playthrough (unlike other interactive movies that allow you to select and take different paths in the story) and have to watch an incredibly boring slide show before making any of those choices, which is surprising light on the porn aspect advertised that this game could easily be rated PG-13 just for some heavy swearing.
Sure, there were some unintended laughs from the random visuals and lackluster "comedy" and voice acting the game offers, but it's not worth playing/watching the game for as they can't save the game from being just a dull, cheap adult interactive movie game where the porn is almost non-existent and you can't select a different path in the story.
Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.
Here's my story with Simpsons Skateboarding: when I was younger, I had to get a PS2 for Kingdom Hearts (we had initially rented one from Drug Mart), so as huge Simpsons fans we also picked up Skateboarding, and I remember in friggin' second grade (it's hard to believe it's that old) being embarrassed to tell people I got a PS2 for Kingdom Hearts, so I told them Simpsons Skateboarding instead.
At the time, I believed the issue was that I was bad at the game, and not that it was one of the worst games of all-time; that was a theme for many difficult games from my youth.
