Hey, don't have it in me to write a full article ATM, but I just remembered something interesting.
A few years ago, a certain blog, the Power of Independent Trucking, released a whole bunch of demo tracks over the space of a few months. These were included by themselves, like the Get Ready Premix, and two compilations including rare tracks,"Seems like I've been here before..." and a couple different recordings of Ceremony, and "I'm Not Grown Up And I'm Not A Boy..." containing a significantly different version of Let's Go, a lyrics version of Skullcrusher, and an early version of Touched by the Hand of God.
On the Joy Division side, he also posted some unreleased Insight sessions, containing Atrocity Exhibition and Digital takes, both of which aren't released elsewhere, and a soundboard test, containing a version of Colony with lyrics.
This is scratching the surface of what was posted, and a lot of these are unavailable elsewhere. There's a much rougher, lower quality copy of Let's Go's vocal version floating around New Order Online as a RealMedia file, and had been there before PIT's version had been posted, but it's in significantly worse quality than the version on I'm Not Grown Up. He was forced to remove them for some pretty complicated reasons, IIRC something about a copyright holder but not NO/JD's copyright holder.
I used to have these on a harddrive before the HDD crashed, and kind of wish I had them again. But I'm not having any luck finding them, so I'm posting these here out of the hopes someone has better luck, and seeing if this is article worthy.

I think I might've found "Digital" and "Atrocity Exhibition" in a MediaFire download dump.
I searched the Internet for them and I believe I've found the two versions that were released on that Blog but have since been taken down from MediaFire.
I sent you a direct message to share the files with you because I don't know if they're the correct files; if they are, I'll upload them to my Google Drive and share them with everybody.

Do you still have the drive to attempt recovery? I've heard drive savers does a pretty good job, but they're also expensive.

I think I still do. I've had a move between then and now, so it's likely in a box somewhere. Problem is money, I don't get paid enough to recover HDD data.
That, and it was a head crash. It could be doable, but RIP platters.
