So a while ago, I heard about this movie called Proud American on Tumblr. It wasn't until recently that suddenly remembered it and tried to find a copy of it to watch and laugh at, but it doesn't seem like it's available anywhere on the web. The movie has a 1.1 rating on IMDb and a 10% on Rotten Tomatoes, so this and a few miscellaneous review articles prove that people have indeed seen this movie.
Here's the trailer for the film

The only two names I can recognize from the cast are Jonathan Banks, from Breaking Bad, and Grant Goodeve, the Engineer's VA from Team Fortress 2. It was written and directed by Fred Ashman, and despite being funded by Coca Cola, Wal-mart, American Airlines AND Mastercard, there doesn't seem to be any information on the movie's budget, though I'm wagering it might be around $6-10 million (but I'm also notoriously bad at math, so take those numbers with a pinch of salt). It grossed around $96,000 on opening weekend, the lowest in over 600 theaters, and just over $135,000 during it's theatrical run. According to the review posted on the IMDb page, the movie seems to be an anthology film, telling different "true" stories that's meant to "celebrate America" in one way or another, with product placement for Coca Cola and American Airlines plastered all over the film.

I hope we can eventually find this movie, even if it takes several years to do so. I just really wanna see how bafflingly awful this thing really is.
