For the past couple months, i've been researching a show from the late 60's named, "Do Not Adjust Your Set". The show from late 1967 to mid 1969. Some of the people who starred in the show (such as Terry Jones, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin) would later become members of the Monty Python comedy group. Although intended for children, many adults also watched the show. The show consists of sketches, one after the other, in a surreal style. Each episode would have one or two performances by the Bonzo Dog (Doo-Dah) Band, and also a segment with the satirical superhero Captain Fantastic. Episodes from the first season would be produced by Rediffusion London, while the second season would be produced by Thames Television. Most of the episodes from the first season have been found and even put on DVD. (besides 2 specials and episodes 3, 7, and 8) But, most of the second season (besides the Holiday Special and episode 4) are lost. Though, some bootleg tapes of lost audio exist. (such as two Soundcloud files and the Charity Shop Tapes) Especially the Bonzos' performances have been tracked down on bootlegs. Apparently audio exists of these Bonzo Dog performances:
Can Blue Men Sing the Whites 03/69
11 Mustachioed Daughters 04/69
Mickey's Son and Daughter 04/69
Swannee 02/69 (This song has never been on any of the Bonzos' albums)
Postcard 03/69
Sport (The Odd Boy) 05/69
Look At Me I'm Wonderful 05/69
Also apparently Ali-Baba's Camel was played on the partially found episode 4 f the first season.
As I said earlier, only episode 4 (commonly mistaken for episode 2) of the second season has been found, though in poor quality.
Please tell me if anyone knows more info than I do. I'd really like to see these episodes found. Thanks in advance!
