From 1982 to 1999, the USA Network had a cartoon block known as Cartoon Express that aired mostly reruns of older shows, similar to early Cartoon Network. However, in 1992 they ordered two original shows, being Problem Child and The Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Problem Child was an animated adaptation of the film franchise of the same name, being made at a time when animated shows based on live-action movies were not uncommon (Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, The Mask, etc.), while The Itsy Bitsy Spider was based on an animated short of the same name that aired before the 1992 film Bebe's Kids. Sadly, both shows have very little footage of them available as both had low ratings, and aired on cable during a time when most animated shows were still only available to view during Saturday mornings.
Douglas MacKrell, the host of the YouTube channel "Secret Screening", a channel that specializes in obscure, niche, and sometimes lost television shows and films (both animated and live-action) recently posted a video where he details what is known about these two series:
Both series ran for 26 episodes each, and very little footage of either show exists, considering both were dropped after 3 years of reruns. Doug MacKrell would like to start an active search for both shows and find as many episodes of them as possible.
Having subscribed to him for a long time, I saw this video and thought that I could ask the Lost Media Wiki to possibly help out in search of as many episodes as possible of these two shows. I even mentioned LMW in the comments of the video, so I feel like that might gain some traction. If we can find Clock Man, then I'm certain we can find these shows as well.
Bumping. I have recently taken on the challenge of trying to find *something* on this show for the past two weeks or so. I'm still waiting back on a few replies to various e-mails and contact information I found. Also, I've recently updated the Wiki article removing the dead links to previously found lost episodes 'Spider in Spurs' and 'Itsy's Favorite Haunt' that are now lost AGAIN.
Surely someone downloaded the videos off Youtube before I came along and discovered the links were dead (July 2019).
Bonus question: Has anyone made in progress on their own?
