The laptop indeed has those ports. BTW, the model number is T4700CT/320.
Nice! See if you can get ahold of some flash cards that can work for the port. The '320' in your model number appears to refer to the larger 320MB hard drive option. The flashcards I have been able to find on Ebay seem to be a usual size of 128MB, so 3 of them could hold the whole drive's storage, though I doubt the laptop's drive is full, seeing as what he would have produced would have been text docs/word docs. Anyways, you'd really only need 1, as you could dump the flashcard online/to a newer computer each time and then format.
One of my friends decided to try connecting the hard disk to another computer (using an adapter) to try to copy its contents on an USB stick. I have yet to find out how to open the laptop to get the hard disk out.

I would still say finding a flash card would be the safer choice. Or, if you have the budget, buy one from ebay (with a connector for the port).
I wouldn't recommend trying to handle an old hard drive like that. It can be done, but the connector can break.

I have a friend who builds computers in his spare time. I can ask him if he would be able to help you out with the laptop.

I could not much during the last 2 weeks because of my work hours. Fortunately, i now have different work hours that will allow me to take the laptop to someone who could be able to transfer the files to a usb stick. Also, i found a computer repair shop near me (15 minutes!). I will take the laptop there to see if they can transfer the contents of the laptop or even fix the floppy disk drive.

Did the shop you got it from not have any flash cards lying around? Just wondering since it seems like it'd be an easier option.
Scripts become academic in nature once the show has aired, or has been passed on. There are a multitude of vendors, and websites online that offer scripts of shows that are still airing, either for free or for a fee. Generally speaking, scripts are seldom published and sold by the copyright owner, the only time where the law will come into play is if something is still in production, and it leaks pre-airdate.
Iβm going to bring the laptop at the repair shop on tuesday morning. Also, i bought the laptop from a friend, and not from a shop.
Would you be willing to get some old cheap flash cards for the ports that still works if it cannot be repaired? Honestly, a repair sounds like it would be many times more expensive than getting a compatible card.
There's one little problem if you are going to use a flash drive (or any |USB device) on windows 3.1. There will be a lack of driver support. While it is risky to do so, I believe the best course of action here is to either take the hard drive out and use a hdd to usb device to extract the files or if this laptop supports it, try to network the laptop to another computer and get the files that way.
