So, I recently went out looking for lost media that could be included on the wiki, and thought to myself"Hey, what about mid-70's television?". I went to look for television schedules from the 70's online, and found tonnes of shows that barely have anything online about them.
Three for the Road , not to be confused with the 1987 film of the same name, really came off as something especially interesting to me upon reading the Wikipedia article for the show. It only had 13 episodes, but according to someone commenting on the IMDb page for the show, only 11 were broadcast on television.
The show didn't hit high ratings at the time, but the series was arguably what kickstarted Leif Garrett's celebrity status due to the reactions he was getting from the show's younger female viewers falling in love with his looks. It's said that he was able to start his musical career through this, as he was given an offer from a record company shortly after.
Like other shows from 1975 however, Three for the Road has very limited footage available to the general public. Here's the intro, and it's pretty much the definition of the stereotypical 1970's TV show. Everything about it just yells "I'm from the 70's". This is the only footage I could find, though I hope we can find more through searching.
