There was kinda a thread for this but since the title is non-descriptive it keeps getting pushed down.
So consider this a new start.
Anyway, Pokemon Live was a stage show that was set to be released on home media in the early 2000s.
That never happened.
So there's a lost, unseen, HQ-professionally shot video of the show that was going to be used for official release.
The goal of this search would be to uncover this lost professional version. Now allegedly this version is actually at Pokemon Company, but it's lost in their archives.
According to Chadtronic's video, Chris Mitchell who also worked on the show reached out to Pokemon but to no avail.
I have an assumption that Pokemon themselves did not record the performance, therefore there must be someone out there with a master copy, or knows where to direct us.
I've made a list of some people who worked on the show and might be worth contacting.
Director/Choreographer: Luis Perez
Production Designer: Hotopp Associates
Lighting Designer: David Agress
Writer: Michael Slade (Theaterworks USA touring family shows)
The following people are extremely difficult to find contact info for since they're all higher-ups and whatnot:
Executive Producers:
Ed Micone, Michael Fiur and Howard Kolins, (radio city)
Alfred Kahn (4Kids)
Gail Tilden (Nintendo)
Norman Grossfeld (President of 4Kids, produced/wrote Pokemon Live)
Contacting Chris Mitchell again might be of some help (like setting us up with connections) if none of these people above can be reached. I also don't know the extent of the emails Chadtronic has received, so if someone could direct Chad to this search here that'd be welcomed too.
