In a bit of nostalgia (the engine of 80% of our work here), I decided to look up the old Cluefinders series. The Learning Company produced the games from 1997-2002. They got Humungous Entertainment to produce some browser-based games. I couldn't find any information about the browser games, and I wanted to see them, so I decided to go digging. I found the site that they should be on, www.cluefinders.com.
Three problems:
1. Trying to find the games through a link results in an error telling me I need Shockwave.
2. Trying to go through the Wayback Machine's link list results in a "forbidden" error, and several page names hinting that a log-in would be required to pass this area
3. That log-in definitely wouldn't work now.
Is there anything I can do? There are still some old download files on the pages, including one called "mom".
Edit: Looks like we lost some other content too. The FAQ is still around, but the content is missing.
