Dunno how helpful this is, but Comcast owned minor-league baseball teams at some point, and, quote from this old article:
Being affiliated with a large corporate parent like Comcast has its advantages. SpongeBob, the popular children’s television character, has appeared at the games. Comcast’s airs Viacom International Inc.’s Nickelodeon, which produces the SpongeBob show.

That episode came to mind when I was recalling the animation, but I remember very different details, as stated in my first post. For one, I remember the baseball animation took place during the day, and while I don't remember what time of year I went to go see the game, I think I would've remembered if the animation were Christmas-themed.

Hmmmm interesting.
I'll keep looking, although by looking at the short summaries listed on the Spongebob wiki, not too sure what else it can be.
Anyone else is also free to chip in

Oh wow I somehow missed the script! I'm honestly picturing literal scenes from various episodes being used in correlation with what is being said in the script. Instead of it being this cohesive narrative, it's just whatever matches being said. But I dunno that's just a theory and I could be way off base here.
Are you thinking of any episodes in particular? I could take a look and see if I could find them online to begin recreating the video. Recreating the video hopefully will spark some memories and get us closer to finding the actual animation.
I'm thinking it could be similar to fanmade edits people make on YT based on pre-existing content (ex. AMVs and fanmade scenes made from pre-existing clips)
Maybe we should also start hunting for people who spoke this script to contact? Although IDK what job position that would be.
I'd have to go through the episodes to really put something like that together. I can just think of specific moments from the show that might fit what was being said.
Although I do think it could very well just be a montage of Spongebob clips that go along with the script, I think it's odd soupnerd didn't necessarily describe it as something that had aired before? But I guess if no animation was commissioned, then it has to kinda be an already existing episode or multiple episodes edited together.
Wow I would not know. I wonder if maybe finding fan groups of the team and asking them if they remember this might help?

Hmmm ok then.
I think it is very possible that there was a good editor on the staff team that could have edited the clips well enough to make it look coherent.
I did some research and found they are currently hiring for these roles here:
In-Game Host or PA Announcer could be who we are looking for. I'll do some digging on this. As for fan groups, I couldn't find any, but some local groups I did on reddit: www.reddit.com/r/frisco/ www.reddit.com/r/TexasRangers/ (This is for the Texas rangers, but there were some posts in the past about the Frisco Roughriders)
EDIT: I found on their website (https://www.milb.com/frisco/news/roughriders-looking-for-additions-to-in-game-entertainment-team) that there is an email address here that we haven't contacted/seen yet: For more information on the Frisco RoughRiders and Dr Pepper Ballpark, please visit RidersBaseball.com or contact Zbigley@RidersBaseball.com.
I might try this email soon if I don't get a response within 2 weeks since sending. Gonna keep digging for contacts

Sent an email to Michael, lets see if we can get any new info
EDIT: These are the people I still yet to find contact for/haven't contacted yet. Just bumping the information up in the thread Matt Stamm (Director of Game Entertainment from 2003-2007): His Twitter: twitter.com/Stamm_24
Scott Hatter (Game Entertainment; Linkedin said he mainly worked on videos):

No responses yet but I am wondering if the MiLB email addresses (domain @ridersbaseball.com) only answer during the Minor League season (this year it is apparently starting in April for Class AAA teams and May for all other teams). That would explain why we haven't gotten back response from those emails yet.

Does the place where you found these contacts say anything about being dormant when there arent any active games? Might be helpful to check.

I totally didn't think this, and I'm not sure if you tried yet. But did you try their Facebook pages? Baseball teams generally have social media, I actually had to hit up my local team's page about tickets once.

Haven't done their Facebook. Anyone is free to contact VIA that outlet tho if needed, since I don't have FB due to privacy concerns.
Maybe I could leave a comment on their YT perhaps, but I doubt they check comments and reply at that

this is them right? I can shoot a question to their FB page and see if they know anything or can direct me to anyone. What did you ask your contacts exactly so we can stay on the same page?
Edit: It's all minor league? Whoops
Edit: I checked all of the social on their site and yeah it just takes me to the MLB pages, so nevermind then.
