This week, I will be making a video about a show which is apparently long-lost from the internet, a French animated series known as A Touch of Blue in the Stars (Coup de bleu dans les étoiles). The series aired on Cartoon Network in most of Europe in English and was shown at least two times on France 3 (1993 and 1997) and once on Canal+.
The series apparently talked about the history of Europe as three children (Jac and his twin sisters Lea and Bea) use a magic book to take them to key periods in European history. Some people suggest that this series has connections to the newly-reformed European Union - this series was produced around the time of the Treaty of Maastricht - which means that this series is largely forgotten.
Anyone who lives/lived in Europe in the 90s have any more details?
