Big necrobump, sorry, but I had to put my two cents on this thread.
I remember a detail from Astrology with Squidward in which one of the shorts ends with an object falling over Squidward's head at the end of the short, shortly before the transition to the closing logo. The object in question was a film studio prop, like a spotlight or a studio microphone in a stand. This came to my memory when the other day I saw all known shorts in order, only to find out that none of them had the studio mic/spotlight gag, which could mean one of these three things:
-The Virgo/Libra/Scorpio short(s) could exist;
-One of the existing shorts was edited in an international release, which is highly unlikely imo;
-There's another short/commercial starring Squidward with a similar presentation where the gag is included in it;
Unfortunately I can't remember the sign featured in the short where the gag appears, hence why I put all these possibilities above.
Another thing worth pointing out are the short's portuguese dubs. Nickelodeon premiered in Portugal on June 1st 2005 and during its first couple of months it only aired classic Nicktoons, or at least those that aired on SIC in the late 90s-early 2000s, such as Rugrats, Angry Beavers and CatDog from what I remember. SpongeBob also aired on SIC, but the series didn't catch on initially and remained obscure for many years, only airing the first two seasons with a muffled, really crappy dub that it's so bad it's good (for instance, in the first dub Mr. Krabs and Plankton were voiced by the same actor, with the latter character talking with a falsetto, not only that but he also voiced them in just one cut, no splices whatsoever, so you could easily hear the actor panting and voice cracking between lines). When Nick premiered they aired the first two seasons with their original dub, alongside Astrology with Squidward which probably never aired in Portugal prior to Nick but it had the same voice actor as Squidward's in Seasons 1 and 2. Season 3-onwards premiered on Nickelodeon with an entirely new dubbing cast and because of that Nick decided to redub Seasons 1 and 2 to match the later seasons' cast, as well Astrology with Squidward. If I manage to find online who currently voices Squidward, I should email him and ask about the Astrology with Squidward shorts. I believe the actor who voiced Squidward in the original dub still works with the current cast, although he currently voices Plankton and background characters. Might as well track him down, too.
