Hi guys, Terry here. I was just wanting to know what you all consider the creepiest, scariest, etc. Lost Media.
There is one that immediately comes to my mind when I brought this topic up, but I'm not sure how lost it is or how many episodes were made. It is an Estonian live-action series called Mõmmi ja Aabits (roughly translated, Teddy's ABC's). This show featured very poorly made mascots that look like they want to eat you.
Pretty much everything in the NSFL category, but a special mention goes to the Moors Murderer's 1964 torture tape of ten-year-old girl Lesley Ann Downey. That article is pure adult fear (just imagine if your son or daughter gets captured and killed by a serial killer and you're brought in to identify their screams on the tape) and proof that criminals can even being willing to torture innocent children. Thankfully, the criminals involved got caught and were sentenced to prison for life (both remained there until their deaths).
Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.

That definitely counts. As deranged as criminals can get, the ones who harm children are among the worst.
Christine Chubbock. Just the fact it was aired on LIVE TV, OF ALL PLACES!
Judging from what has been said about it, yeah. That counts. There have been others as well just like it that are found. But none of those are as eerie as Chubbuck. She scripted the whole thing and made it part of the newscast.
I would say a tie between Christine Chubbock and Columbine Basement Tapes. Both are creepy in their own way. Columbine Basement Tapes takes us into the minds of two teens who needed help and their slow and unfortunate descent into madness. Christine Chubbock is creepy as it was aired live on TV.

What's worse is some of the Basement Tapes (or at least some other videos they made, it's late so I can't remember) were actually released and the transcripts of the ones missing are publicly available. I do not suggest watching the ones that were released though, because they are not creepy, they are horrifying. I saw about ten seconds before I freaked out and couldn't do it anymore, even after reading the transcripts and some of their journal entries (which are fascinating and a great way to look into their minds without watching the videos). I should add that I'm studying psychology, want to work with teens, and have personally seen some pretty messed up kids (events which influenced my choice of study), so I do not say any of this lightly.
