Throughout 2017 Unsolved Mysteries series was released remastered on Amazon Prime. Fans where grateful and over-enthused of Cosgrove-Mueur Productions decision to finally release the series on a digital platform. However missing segments, chopped up specials,and changed around music/intros has left many fans reeling for all the ommited material. Most was understandably ommited for copyright/royalties,privacy,statue of limitations reasons.
Over the years Unsolved Mysteries material has been put on YouTube and taken down more times than I can count on 2 hands. Cosgrove-Mueur Productions seems to take serious the copyright violation of their material. And of course UM material is floating around all over the Internet.
With the above said, there is now a lot of Unsolved Mysteries material considered "lost media".
