Why do channels intentionally make their shows hard to watch

So I know I'm not the only one to notice this but have you noticed that when a channel like Disney or Nickelodeon ends their shows they broadcast it a few more times then they never show it again?
For example The Ghost and Molly McGee, ever since that show ended there has been no reruns of it for some reason, it's like these companies are purposely trying to have their shows become lost media in some way, and the same companies go after people who watch there shows illegally (not encouraging or promoting piracy just making a statement) like some people don't want to pay for a streaming service on top of paying for cable every month, maybe if they had good stuff on cable rather then moving everything to streaming this wouldn't happen
The same thing with fairly OddParents like when was the last time you seen that damn show rerun on tv? Why do these companies do this is it for streaming purposes? Or are they trying to secretly kill off cable?
