Trying to remember an old computer game

When I was around 5-8 years old (2004-2007) I remember playing an odd computer game all the time.  It wasn't an online game because we didn't have internet.  But I remember the game involved driving a vehicle around searching for robots.  Once you found a robot, you put it in the back of your car and took it to a specific destination.  Each destination had a picture of the robot on it so you knew where to take each one.  There were three robots from what I remember, and I think you could level up.  I remember driving around in almost a desert sort of scenery.  I feel like it was a very low quality unknown game so it's pretty far fetched.  

I've been trying to remember it for months and it's driving me insane.  Please help.
