I'm talking about the three movies which were filmed in Croatia when it was under the reign of Austro-Hungarian Monarchy (1867.-1918.).The first one is called "Matija Gubec" from 1917.,the second one is "Grička Vještica" from 1920 and the third one is "Brcko in Zagreb" from 1917(1st Croatian movie ever made). The first film's story talks about the rebellion of peasants agains royalty in late 16th century. The second one movie is based on Marija Jurić Zagorka's novel under same name and the third is about young man who seeks excitment and fun in the city of Zagreb. I think that the finding of this old novies would mean very much for the history of Croatian cinematography so I hope someone would find them (I know, it sounds impossible but who knows?).
are you from Croatia? if so is there a primary streaming service based in croatia that's commonly or maybe occasionally used? regional lost media will more often than not be found on websites and streaming services based in these areas.
Regarding the second film, I was able to find these streaming sites. Based on the thumbnail, these aren't the movie. These are all scam sites as well since they're behind paywalls, so this probably won't get us anywhere. I just thought it was interesting.
To estoria Wow, thanks for information.Out of curiousity, is that link you sent to me safe? I don't want to get viruses. I'm on the phone that is not protected from malware.

I'm not sure about that... The main TV stations in Croatia (HRT, RTL and Nova TV) have websites with the episodes of various shows and such but I doubt they have ANY old films there... I'm afraid to browse sketchy streaming websites because I don't want any malware... Thanks for caring anyways

well not TV stations, just wondering about streaming only, services like youtube or vimeo. you'd be surprised of how many clones of these there are for certain countries, like russian youtube clones or whatever. that's where i'd assume stuff like this would be posted, just because it's local and makes more sense than youtube. now, it does seem strange how wikipedia pages have images for these, because obviously it HAS been preserved to the point of taking a photo of the movie, either from a digital rip or something. kinda weird...

The sites are safe, but I don't think Mobile is the best place to view 'em. If you have a computer, use that.
