Now this certain pilot has a good bit of info on it but I've never seen a forum for it on here. For those of you who don't know, Drake and Josh was a Nickelodeon TV Series that ran from 2003-2006 and was very popular, starting Drake Bell, Josh Peck, and Miranda Cosgrove's careers. There was however a different pilot that essentially had the same plot as the original pilot, except the setting and costume design was completely different and instead of Jonathon Goldstein as Drake and Josh's father it was a different, unknown actor. There are also a couple of clips of the original from a promo for the show when it was first about to air. There used to be a YouTube video of the original pilot but it has been taken down. Dan Schneider, creator of Drake and Josh, iCarly, and many other shows uploaded some screenshots to Twitter a while back of the original pilot. If anyone has any information on this feel free to post it down below. Promo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M9n10U0UpYDad of Drake and Josh
Of all the lost pilots on this site, this is the one I want to be found the most. Although their hasn't been an update on it in a while.
My question is has anyone tried to contact Schneider? Him and Butch Hartman are very approachable with these type of things. Then again Viacom could be the issue with this show couldn't it?
I don't know if this adds anything new but I uploaded this www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhOjcMXCs9w I at least haven't seen the footage with the original dad before, just the pictures floating around.

That would be the Danwarp video - the only video we have.

Glad to see my vid doing well, my next step is to find out more about this Stephen Furst guy
Unfortunatly, we won't be able to contact him, as he passed away earlier this year. With Dan Schneider ignoring our messages, I suggest we contact Nickelodeon's archives, since they may have a copy.

That would be great if Nickelodeon would be more open with their content. Freak Viacom.
