I would go back to the end of 2009 with an external hard drive. I'd take it and go onto the computer I had then and back up all the midi files I have since lost which I am still looking for and make backups of all the files on an external hard drive that died sometime in 2010, but I didn't bavk up and lost over a year of photos, research, videos and other important files. I have always made sure to back up my files since then.
