Lost media in africa?

There's a hell of a lot of African lost media dating back to the various burnings of the Library of Alexandria, if not before.

There's been also a hell of a lot of recovered music and broadcasts thanks to shortwave enthusiasts recording broadcasts.

We actually have a thread somewhere started by users from Africa looking to document and archive the works of various filmmakers from their countries. If you run a thread search for Africa, it should come up but I don't think its been interacted with since last year, maybe.
