Random Media/Things you Mixed Up?

Since both came out in 1998 and are basically about the same thing, for obvious reasons, I sometimes get Armageddon and Deep Impact mixed up. For a long time I thought the song "Surf City" was by The Beach Boys but its by Jan and Dean. My mom thought the song "California On My Mind" by Cashman & West was The Beach Boys the first time she heard it.

When "All I Want Is You" by Barry Louis Polisar came out, when I first heard it, I initially thought that was Bob Dylan. Listening to it now, while the song has a Dylan feel about it, Barry's voice isn't as close sounding to Dylan as I initially thought.

I've gotten Dandandan and Undead Unluck mixed up and I don't even know how that happened.

you're actually sort of correct with that! I'm almost 99% sure stan smith is based off of Joe swanson (or vise versa!)

Oh wow, I have actually been to a place called Soak City (associated with Knotts Berry Farm) in Cali and I swear, it was called Surf City at some point? Or maybe our branded towels said that? All that to say that I just assumed it was a Beach Boys reference. I must also be thinking "Surfin USA" since we listened to a LOT of Beach Boys in the car when I was younger (parent was a big fan). 

I sort of blurred together Growing up Creepie and Ruby Gloom in my head a decent bit. It's the vibes, probably. Same with Megas XLR and Sym-bionic Titan-they both tend to exist in my same headspace for whatever reason.
