Fake media you have seen being passed of as real

Have you seen and or owned any media that is fake which was being passed of as being real and wasn't just fan made or a reproduction?
I don't think I have owned any fake media that was being passed of as real, but I have seen media being passed of as real. Back in 2000 or 2001, I was at a country fair with my parents. There was an Asian woman at a stall and she called me over and said she had some Pokémon TGC cards for sale and was trying to tell me they were real. They were TGC cards which were either made by the front of the card being printed onto sticky back holographic paper and stuck onto real cards front or the whole card was printed onto holographic card, I don't remember. Either way they were obvious fakes and no one would say otherwise.
I remember the cards artwork was mostly various screenshots from the Anime. While I knew they were not real, looking back on it, I wish I had bought them just for their interesting look of the cards more than anything else.
