A good example had to be the recently-premiered "Max and the Midknights" Nickelodeon series. For a while, we thought Nickelodeon and/or Paramount pulled the plug on the series early on because cartoons with a female protagonist were considered "dead" (the same reason why their Nicktoon adaptation of "Phoebe and Her Unicorn" got cancelled midway through production). But in reality, the series completed production all this time. Nickelodeon uploaded the series premiere episode on to their Nicktoons YouTube channel 4 months before, as of creating this thread, premiering yesterday on television.
What are some other TV shows that you thought got the axe during production?
I thought Disney's Primos was going to get axed as a result of the controversy surrounding some comments made by the shows creator and certain aspects of the show(which were blown tremendously out of proportion if you ask me)after it's original premiere date got delayed with no announcement for a future one. However earlier this year Disney kinda stealth dropped it on Plus with little to no warning.
