Is there any media that exists that you thought might be interesting to see if it had a different (alternate) version made in a slightly different way to the original? If so, post them here. Here are some of mine:
1. Diablo & Diablo II. These are some of my favourite games. For a long time I wondered what it might have been like if there was first person versions of both games with high quality modern graphics. Keep everything else the same just make the games playable in first person. It would be great to see the various locations, monsters, NPCs, items etc... from a first person perspective.
2. I liked Wacky Races as a child and often wondered what it would be like if there was a live action movie based on it and what real life versions of the various cars in it would look like. Same for Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines and what real life versions of their various planes might be like. They would have to get Muttley to look right in live action for it to work.
3. Live action Recess. Recess was one of my favourite shows and I have wondered what it might be like if it were made into a live action series.
4. Calvin and Hobbes animated TV series and or movies. Bill Watterson fought hard to prevent merchandise and TV shows, movies from being made of Calvin and Hobbes as he was passionate about his comic strips and didn't want them to be anything other than that. While I respect him for doing that, I have also wondered what an animated TV show based on Calvin and Hobbes would have been like if done right.
5. Deus Ex (2000) is one of my all time favourite games. I have mentioned this on here a few times. I have sometimes wondered what a modern remaster would be like, made in the latest Unreal engine, with all the cut content in it that was originally planned for the game which was cut due to time and other constraints.
